Michelle Alexander is a dedicated educator whose leadership has been at the heart of Oak Grove’s early learning community. As Assistant Principal of both the Charlene Roscher Early Childhood Center and Oak Grove Primary School, she has spent nearly 14 years shaping nurturing environments for students, staff, and families 

A lifelong member of the Oak Grove R‑VI district and a graduate of Northwest Missouri State University, Michelle is known for her warm mentorship and her ability to bring people together in pursuit of student success.

Her enthusiasm for education extends beyond daily school life: Michelle actively highlights her team’s contributions—such as during Assistant Principals Appreciation Day—and celebrates community milestones through uplifting district communications and social media.  Colleagues describe her as a steady, supportive presence who listens first, collaborates creatively, and always advocates for what’s best for young learners.

Under her influence, the early childhood and primary schools flourish in a climate of care and continuous improvement. Her commitment to building a unified, inclusive school culture reflects Oak Grove’s core values—making Michelle a true cornerstone of the community.
