For more than 20 years, the Youth Advisory Council (YAC) at Truman Heartland Community Foundation has been empowering students in Eastern Jackson County to change their communities through philanthropy. Each year, students from area high schools work together to give back, gaining hands-on experience in grantmaking, fundraising, and volunteering.

Join us for Strike in the Night, a family-friendly bowling event. We rented out the whole Lunar Bowl facility for our YAC students and their guests. The funds raised support the group's grantmaking efforts and provide a fun way for students to get together to make a difference in their communities.
