1)  Individual and business provisions of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (2017) that were extended or made permanent.

2) New individual and business provisions that are enacted as a result of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OB3) including increased SALT Cap, charitable contribution changes, and new deductions for certain individuals.

3) An overview of the clean energy credits that were terminated and the timing of those repeals.

4) Planning ideas around the various provisions of OB3 including charitable planning

5) KS & MO State legislation changes for 2025 and beyond.

Jenna Hauschild, CPA | Managing Director

Jenna has more than 15 years of experience in tax and accounting and serves as a Forvis Mazars Private Client™ advisor. She specializes in income, gift, and estate tax planning for individuals, families, and businesses. A KU graduate with both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting, Jenna is active in professional organizations and currently serves as treasurer of the Kansas City Estate Planning Symposium.

 

Emma Cornell, CPA | Senior Associate

Emma has over three years of experience delivering tax and accounting services to various closely held companies and individual clients. She works with clients in multiple industries, including high-net-worth individuals and owners. Emma is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and Missouri Society of CPAs. She earned her Master of Professional Accountancy degree in 2022 at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
