This scholarship was established by Jill and Michael Johnston to provide scholarship support to students with financial need in the Eastern Jackson and Lafayette County areas who are dedicated to living lives of service to others through careers in the healthcare field. 

Eligibility:

• Must be a graduating high school senior  
• Must be a resident of the Eastern Jackson or Lafayette County
• Must be pursuing an undergraduate degree in a healthcare specific field
• Must have demonstrated financial need.

Amount:

Up to $2,000 per academic year.

Renewable:

Yes, this scholarship can be renewed for three additional years of funding. A renewal application must be submitted with proof of continuing college enrollment and a minimum college cumulative GPA of 3.0.

Requirements:

• Transcripts showing grades through Fall Semester 2025
