This scholarship was established by Drs. Kurt Hanneman and Elizabeth Ward to provide financial support for students from Grain Valley, MO, who are pursuing careers in dentistry or healthcare. 

Eligibility: 

• Must be a graduating senior from Grain Valley High School;
• Must be pursuing an undergraduate or degree or technical certification program in a dental or healthcare related field;
• Preference may be given to candidates pursuing dental careers (dentistry, dental assisting, dental hygiene, dental laboratory technicians);
• Must have demonstrated financial need.

Amount:

Up to $1,200 per academic year.

Renewable:

This is not a renewable scholarship.

Requirements:

• Essay of 500 words briefly explaining your career goals.
• Letter of reference.
