Eligibility:

• Must be a resident of the metropolitan Kansas City area;
• Must be pursuing a baccalaureate degree in nursing at Graceland University;
• Must have completed the sophomore level courses;
• Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0;
• Must have demonstrated participation in extracurricular, community service, and/or work activities;
• Must have excellent communication skills;
• Financial need may be considered.

Amount:

Up to $750 per academic year.

Renewable:

Not a renewable scholarship.

Deadline:

The General Application for the 2026-2027 cycle will be available December 1, 2025 and due February 16, 2026 (including any requirements listed below).

Requirements:

• Transcripts showing grades from Fall Semester 2025. Any applications submitted with transcripts omitting Fall Semester 2025 will not be considered.

Apply:

Recipient will be selected from the candidate pool for the Seger Family Nursing Scholarship. The criteria and application for the two scholarships are identical. If you meet the criteria for the Seger Family Nursing Scholarship and complete the requirements, you will be considered for the Ron Bruch Nursing Scholarship.
