This scholarship was established by Dr. Kurt Hanneman and Dr. Elizabeth Ward to provide financial support for students from Grain Valley, MO, who are pursuing careers in dentistry or healthcare. 

Eligibility: 

• Must be a graduating senior from Grain Valley High School;
• Must be pursuing an undergraduate or degree or technical certification program in a dental or healthcare related field;
• Preference may be given to candidates pursuing dental careers (dentistry, dental assisting, dental hygiene, dental laboratory technicians);
• Must have demonstrated financial need.

Amount:

Up to $1,200 per academic year.

Renewable:

This is not a renewable scholarship.

Requirements:

• Essay of 500 words briefly explaining your career goals.
• Letter of reference.
