David Cromwell was a 2003 graduate of Blue Springs South High School. He was enrolled at the University of Missouri-Columbia and planned to start classes in the fall of 2004. David died in a tragic accident six weeks after his high school graduation.

David had a love of life, learning and humanity. It is the wish of his family and friends that his dream of attending college live on by helping others achieve their educational goals with the help of this scholarship fund established to honor David’s memory.

Eligibility:

• Must be a graduating senior from Blue Springs or Blue Springs South High School in Blue Springs, Missouri;
• Must be pursuing an undergraduate degree at a four year public university in the state of Missouri.

Amount:

Up to $1,000.

Renewable:

Not a renewable scholarship.

Deadlines:

The General Application for the 2026-2027 cycle will be available December 1, 2025 and due February 16, 2026 (including any requirements listed below).

Requirements:

• Transcripts showing grades from Fall Semester 2025. Any applications submitted with transcripts omitting Fall Semester 2025 will not be considered.
