The purpose of the Council of Clubs is to encourage and promote educational development through financial assistance to young people. In keeping with this mission, the Council of Clubs of Greater Kansas City is proud to sponsor this scholarship to assist students in the metropolitan Kansas City area in obtaining formal education. This scholarship funds all fields of study at all levels including undergraduate, graduate, technical, professional and trade education.
Eligibility:
- Must be pursuing a certification or degree at an accredited trade school, junior college, college or university that is located within a 50-mile radius of Tenth and Main Streets in Kansas City, Missouri;
- Must have maintained a B average (3.0 GPA) for the previous semester;
- Must have demonstrated leadership potential as evidenced by leadership positions held in extra-curricular groups, committees, community service groups, etc.
Amount:
Up to $500 per academic year.
Renewable:
Yes, this scholarship can be renewed for three additional years of funding. A renewal application must be submitted with proof of continuing college enrollment and a minimum college cumulative GPA of 3.0.

General applications and additional requirements are due February 24.
Please note that the general application requires transcripts showing grades from Fall Semester 2022. Any applications submitted with transcripts omitting Fall Semester 2022 will not be considered. We recommend getting started on your application as soon as you have received your Fall Semester 2022 transcripts so you have time to prepare the additional requirements.
