Join Us for the YAC Holiday Party!
Come celebrate the end of the year with your fellow Youth Advisory Council members at our annual YAC Holiday Party! This is a relaxed, festive evening where you can unwind after finals, enjoy some great food, and connect with other students from across Eastern Jackson County.
🍕 Dinner Provided
We’ll be having a pizza party dinner, including:
- Pizza
- Salad
- Cookies
- Drinks
Come hungry!
🏛️ Holiday Mansion Tour
YAC members will get a special opportunity to tour the historic Bingham-Waggoner Mansion, beautifully decorated for the holidays.
This is always a favorite part of the evening!

The Bingham-Waggoner team will be sharing upcoming volunteer opportunities with YAC members—great for service hours and community involvement.

Bring a Donation to Support Local Families
As part of our season of giving, we will be collecting items at the party for two local nonprofits:
- Coldwater (Lee’s Summit): Nonperishable food + diapers
- The Necessity Pantry (Independence): Toiletries + household goods
Please bring at least one item to donate!
We are collecting:

🥫 Nonperishable Food
- Canned vegetables
- Canned fruits
- Canned tuna or chicken
- Pasta (all varieties)
- Pasta sauces

- Deodorant
- Shampoo & conditioner
- Bath soap
- Lotion
- Disposable razors
- Shaving cream
