Creating a Gift That Keeps on Giving

Rebecca KnepperAs a financial advisor, Rebecca Knepper has devoted her career to helping her clients reach their financial goals.

“I love the opportunity to build relationships with people,” says Rebecca. “I take time to listen to their financial needs and goals, then together, we build a strategy.”

Rebecca works with her clients to ensure they reach a comfortable retirement and create an estate plan that provides for their families and the charitable causes that are meaningful to them.

“The amount doesn’t matter. The impact you can make with a legacy gift goes on in perpetuity.”

With a desire to invest in her Blue Springs community, during her own estate planning process, Rebecca turned to the Truman Heartland Community Foundation for her planned giving strategy. By naming her fund at Truman Heartland as the beneficiary of her IRA, Rebecca can provide continual support for nonprofits in the region and a lasting legacy.

“It was a really simple process and with Truman Heartland I know my gift is in good hands.”

As a member of the Heartland Legacy Society and Foundation Advisory Board, Rebecca attends Behind the Scenes events at area nonprofits and the Annual Grants Luncheon. These opportunities give Rebecca new perspective on the needs of her community and help her meet nonprofits that are working on the issues that are close to her heart.

“A legacy gift at Truman Heartland is an opportunity to make a lasting difference in the community. It truly is a gift that keeps on giving.”
