Our 2018 Annual Report is Now Available Online

Our 2018 Annual Report is now available online. A central theme in the report is the power of our stories. We see this theme in the work of our Youth Advisory Council, which empowers 190 students annually to find their voice and give back to their communities, and with the success of our Community for All Ages Coalition, for which we received the MARC's 2018 Regional Leadership Award for our work to form a collective narrative for the next chapter and our shifting demographics.

For the last 36 years, Truman Heartland has made it our mission to improve the lives of the people within our community. We’ve done this by connecting money and resources to those who need them the most.

In 2018, thanks to the generosity of our donors, we were able to distribute a total of $4.4 million in grants and scholarships. We also surpassed $7 million in annual contributions, now have more than 700 active funds at the Foundation (including 48 new funds opened in 2018) and ended the year with assets at $43.9 million.

We owe a great deal of our success to the continued support of philanthropic individuals and community volunteers. Since our start, we’ve placed the stories of our donors at the heart of our purpose and together, our stories are stronger here at Truman Heartland Community Foundation.

We encourage anyone who has a heart for philanthropic giving to reach out to us about ways you can maximize your impact with Truman Heartland. Contact us today and let us know how we can help.
