Through your Fund at THCF you have many opportunities to be visible among foundation donors, community leaders and the general public. THCF donors are encouraged to benefit from our knowledge and research of heartland issues and nonprofits and to leverage their own charitable dollars to make grants that have regional impact.
Donor Central
Advising a grant at THCF has never been easier. Donors have the option to submit a grant request online via Donor Central or download the Grant Recommendation Form. Many Donor-Advised and donor Designated Fund donors use Donor Central to make grants, research nonprofit groups and new funding opportunities, and use Guide Star to access financial information about local nonprofits. Annual grants from Donor-Advised and donor Designated Funds average $3 million. Visit Guide Star and update your nonprofit profile today.
Information Network
THCF publishes Donor Connection, a quarterly publication featuring deserving nonprofit funding opportunities identified through the Community Grants Program to help guide donor grantmaking decisions. Submit a new funding opportunity to be published in our next Donor Connection for circulation among the members of our donor family.
With more than 150 nonprofit partners, throughout the year we coordinate three Behind the Scenes special events to connect foundation donors with partnering nonprofits. Each special event is hosted by select nonprofit partners presenting unique funding opportunities. To view upcoming special events visit Donor Central directly. Email us today to request hosting a Behind the Scenes event.
Meeting Center
THCF also provides several conference centers for nonprofit partners. THCF East conference center is primarily used for board meetings and small gatherings, and hosts 10-12 people. THCF South conference center is used for seminars, workshops and conferences and hosts 30-75 people. To reserve either meeting center for your organization, contact us today.
