Grants are awarded following a two-step review process. Grant seekers are first invited to submit a two-page letter of interest. All letters of interest are reviewed first to ensure that one or more of our areas of interest are addressed in the proposed program; letters are then reviewed by the THCF Grants Committee. Letters showing the greatest promise for improving area communities are then invited to submit a five-page full application. Full applications are again reviewed by the THCF Grants Committee. For Letter of Interest format and Full Application format, download the Community Grants Program Guidelines.
Grantees are notified of committee funding decisions in early October, followed by the Grant Awards Luncheon in November. All 2008 recipient organizations must submit a written final report to THCF at the conclusion of the program funded, or twelve months from the date of the award.
