Roberta Coker
Apart from her own desire to invest in the needs of those throughout her community, Roberta Coker created her personal foundation at THCF when she saw how a single donation could be invested and dispersed to benefit many charities. The opportunity to double the value of her giving combined with the convenience and ease of giving through her fund at THCF made the Community's Foundation an easy choice for her. She is now able to support many charities including Powell Gardens, Quality Hill Playhouse, Community Service League, and Junior Services League through her personal foundation.
"With the uncertainties of the economy, having a personal foundation makes sense for our community. When the funds are down, the needs go up. Giving through my fund ensures I can continue my support even during market fluctuations. I am extremely blessed, and we each need to share with others."
