Dr. Paul M. Thomson Professional Advisor of the Year Award
To formally recognize the important role professional advisors play in the philanthropic gift process, the Community Foundation has proudly established the “Dr. Paul M. Thomson Professional Advisor of the Year Award”. This award will be presented at the annual Toast to Our Towns gala in the fall to a leading professional who has been instrumental in working with the Community Foundation to encourage charitable giving throughout the community.
To be considered, nominees should support philanthropy professionally by facilitating significant gifts to local charities, as well as personally by giving time, talent, charitable contributions and leadership among fellow professionals. Eligibility is limited to candidates representing high professional standards in one of the following fields: law, accounting, insurance, financial planning, banking or investment services.
Finalists will be notified but the announcement of the award will remain a surprise until the evening of the annual Toast to Our Towns gala.
